Velite is a supporting character in Honkai Star Rail. He is a lower-ranked IPC worker who was rescued by Argenti before stranded in Astral Express inside the The fleet of The Swarm. He only appears in Trailblaze Continuance, Cosmic Splendor and Merited Praises and he's yet to return.

He is voiced by Joshua Walters in the English dub.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• Velite, debuted in Argenti's companion quest, is known for being a cynical IPC worker who thinks becoming a pilot is such a dumb dream and starts as a rude person who thinks Argenti as his stepping-stone. However, after spending time stranded in the Astral Express within the swarm along with Argenti, he insisting to go with Argenti after he saves him from a True Sting because he cares about him.
• He initially intends to turn Argenti into an IPC Spokesman who wanted to become rich. 5 years later, the IPC work ethics made him an utterly cynical salaryman who nearly forget his original motivations to be rich.
• Joshua Walters' performance.
• His ship-tease with Argenti in the subplot, being heterosexual life partners, with Velite has a Tsundere personality is memorable by the audience.
• The End of Argenti's companion quest implies that Velite survives along with Argenti, though his current whereabout is unknown but is presumed to be survived.
• Fanbase between 3.3 - 3.4 patch laments that Velite has not yet appeared again since his debut Companion Quest with Argenti. In addition, Fanbase react with a fellow IPC Worker, Skott's return in the upcoming patch 3.4 with annoyance because of his spotlight stealing, while at the same time hoping the guy named Velite returning again after a long bus trip.
