Toji Fushiguro, is a major antagonist in the manga/anime series, Jujutsu Kaisen, serving as the main antagonist of the Hidden Inventry arc He is a infamous non-curse user assassin and a former member of the Zenin Clan.

He is voiced by Takehito Koyasu (Who voiced Miyuki Shirogane's Father in Kaguya-Sama: Love is War) in Japanese dub and Nicolas Roye in English dub.

Why is he an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

  • Toji has only appeared in 3 episodes before dying and came back for just a few more in the Shibuya Rescue arc. Despite this, he became one of Jujutsu Kaisen’s most popular and beloved characters.
  • He is seen as one of the most badass and strongest characters in the manga, thanks to how how skilled he is without even needing to use curse energy, the way he easily defeated Geto and Gojo further cemented this.
  • Fans like how he’s one of the few antagonists to actually perform a villain victory, even if it was brief, as Toji was successful in killing his target Riko Amanai.
  • He is actually a pretty funny character, mostly because of his hilarious facial expressions, for example, when he suddenly remembered his son's actual name, or when he called Riko's body collector crazy by making the cuckoo gesture.
  • Fans like how he’s more complex then he seems and isn’t just a greedy assassin, which is best shown in how he told Gojo to save his son from being taken by the Zenin clan, or him taking his wife’s last name out of respect for her.
