Technikki is one of the supporting characters in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. She is the inventor of various gadgets and is the rival of Adaphne.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Technikki is very popular for her backstory where she loses a competition to Adaphne and her inferiority complex when she beats herself up when the invention she created didn't go over well, which has players feeling sorry for her and finding her relatable. Additionally, if Adaphne's plan is chosen, she will be disappointed that the Mario Bros. didn't choose her plan, but ultimately respects it. She holds no hard feelings regardless and she will show up to save the Mario Bros. and Cozette along with IDLE, Princess Peach, and Starlow after Reclusa awakens.
- Fans have expressed their disappointment that she did not show up as the Nintendo Switch Online Icon in the Mario & Luigi: Brothership roster, despite her prominent role in the game.
- There are also fans who are horrified when she gets trapped in one of Reclusa's flowers with the other Concordians, regardless of whether her plan was chosen or not and some would point out that Adaphne should have taken her place depending on the choice instead, such as the Technikki plan route, given her behavior she displayed whenever she is on screen.
