Soldier of Godrick is a minor antagonist in Elden Ring. He is a cannon fodder who serves Godrick the Grafted as the very first opponent The Tarnished must face. The Boss has an indistinguishable appearance to the later Godrick Soldiers.
What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Soldier of Godrick serves as one of the tutorial boss (Albeit optional) whom the Tarnished will face against. The boss is a trend-breaker for Fromsoftware's infamously difficult tutorial bosses throughout the games such as Genichiro Ashina, Asylum Demon, Vanguard Demon, and Iudex Gundyr.
- The audience would reimagine what if Soldier of Godrick was competent enough to be Fromsoftware's hard tutorial boss. On April 13th, YouTuber SkumNut uploaded a satirical guide of Soldier of Godrick, which modified into a more challenging warm up boss that matching Genichiro from Sekiro. In which, the fanbase claims that Malenia paled in comparison.
