Skirk is a supporting major character in open-world role-playing video game Genshin Impact. She is a well-endowed yet mysterious swordswoman who is a mentor of Ajax, who would become a Fatui Harbinger by code name Tartaglia. She is an apprentice of Surtalogi, who is one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah and the owner of the All-Devouring Narwhal.
She is voiced by Xie Ying (谢莹) in Chinese dub, Mamiko Noto (Who voiced Yukako Yamagishi in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable) in Japanese dub, Cat Protano in English dub, and Seo Dahye (서다혜) in Korean dub.
What Makes Her Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Initially hinted by one of Tartaglia's in-game voice-overs about his master, Skirk, a mysterious swordswoman who had taught him Foul Legacy Dark Arts when he fell into the Abyss. She eventually makes an appearance after the climax of Fontaine Archon Quest. 
- If Tartaglia's voice line about her is to be believed, he wanted to spar with Skirk in battle of Foul Legacy Dark Arts. His wish never comes to fruition because of how much he suffers fatigue after battling the Narwhal.
- Despite Tartaglia being Skirk's unfavorite student who had taught him Foul Legacy to survive in the Abyss, she prioritizes her student's safety. In which is the reason why she trained him to escape from The Abyss, yet Tartaglia wants to hone his Foul Legacy Dark Arts once more when he finally met her.
- In her debut appearance, she's able to shrink the gargantuan All-Devouring Narwhal, the pet of her master and throws Tartaglia back into Teyvat by a portal after dropping a huge lore about the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, which her master is one of them.
- As for her throwing Tartaglia into a portal to Teyvat, it's also considered to be a Mood-Whiplash comedic moment after the Traveler battles her master's pet, while back at Fontaine, many family members lost their relatives due to Primordial Seawater Flooding. 
- While technically being part of The Abyss, she's neutral at best when she stopped her master's pet rampaging across Teyvat from Fontaine.
- Fanbase adore that Skirk being an attractive figure with merfolk mythical motifs, being associated with The Abyss.
- She also seen wearing Deep Gallery's Distant Pact on her hair.
- Fanbase wished that Skirk would become a playable character in the future updates in spite of Cryo-Characters were out of Meta.
- Skirk also references Durandal from Hoyoverse's sister game, Honkai Impact 3rd. Both of them are warriors of great strength and the travelers familiar of their world's cosmic seas, struggling to dealing with ordinary people because of her mysterious powers, and shares same Japanese Voice Actress. Additionally, her design heavily resembles Durandal's Palatinus Equinox battlesuit.
- The Artifact set; Finale of the Deep Galleries revolves around Skirk and her master.

- Skirk and Bonanus are both Genshin Impact Ensemble Dark Horses who were Merfolks. In case of Skirk, she's apparantly a human merfolk from The Abyss, befitting her mysterious nature.
- Skirk's English VA, Cat Protano had also voiced Setaria in the same game.
- She also voiced Misha (as well as Young Mikhail Char Legwork) in Honkai Star Rail. 
- Skirk's Chinese VA, Xie Ying had voiced Keqing and Gaming in the same game. 
- She also voiced Bronya Rand in Honkai Star Rail and Natasha Cioara in Honkai Impact 3rd.
