Siegmeyer of Catarina is the supporting character from Dark Souls. He is one of the known knights of Catarina along with his daughter, Sieglinde. He is an adventurous knight who also a bumbling father. In one time, Siegward was unaware that his wife had died when he's away adventuring.

He is voiced by Miles Richardson, who also voices an undead male merchant in the same game, and Siegward of Catarina in Dark Souls 3.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• Siegmeyer is, like Solaire, a jovial knight who loves adventure overall. Though he has a hot-bloodedness and risks himself get into a dangerous situation, he can be clumsy at times. Given a fan-nickname, Onionbro because of his jovial personality and his goofy onion-shaped helmet and armour.
  • He's also a bumbling dad to his daughter, Sieglinde as well.
• Siegmeyer is memorable to the audience because of being a heavy-sleeper and being amicable to the Chosen Undead.
• Because this is Dark Souls, Siegmeyer's fate is pretty much tragic even if you saving him. One of the outcomes is that he plunges himself to the chaos eaters to save The Chosen Undead. And Being killed by his own daughter after he turned hollow sounds unpleasant either.
• Siegmeyer is considered to be a good expy of Bazuso from Berserk. While Bazuso is known for being a man-slaying brutish knight, Siegmeyer is an adventurous knight and a bumbling father. This also contrasting their weapons that are part of the character, Bazuso wields an axe, while Siegmeyer wields a bastard sword and a shield.
• Siegmeyer becomes the second most-popular character of the Dark Souls after Solaire. Therefore, receiving a nendoroid of him.
• Meta-Wise, the Knight of Catarina, due because the appearance of Siegward in Dark Souls 3, is considered to be a long-lasting title for the individual which chronologically passed on from Siegmeyer, to his daughter Sieglinde, and eventually Siegward in the Dark Souls Triology. Afterwards, the Knights of Catarina were never heard again in the DLC.
