Shinichi Handa, is a supporting character in the Inazuma Eleven video game, anime, and manga series. He's a midfielder for Raimon's soccer team. He's one of Raimon's original members.
What Makes Him An Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- The fanbase likes to meme the fact that he's intentionally designed to be average. He's one of the few members from Raimon with a normal hairstyle and his stats in the video games mostly remain balanced, which is mentioned in his description. Some of the games also mention that he doesn't like being called average.
- Many people think he deserved better as one of Raimon's three original members (the others being Endou and Someoka). Because he was hospitalized at the beginning of the Aliea Academy Arc and he didn't get selected for Inazuma Japan during the Football Frontier International Arc, he's considered by fans to be wasted potential.
- Many people ship him with fellow Ensemble Darkhorse Max. One of the reasons for this is because of their combination hissatsu technique, Revolution V.
- While being simple, his design is also considered cute.
