Sean MacGuire, is a supporting character in the western action-adventure video game, Red Dead Redemption 2. He is a loyal and charismatic thief, and one of Dutch Van Der Linde’s main enforcers.
He was voiced by Michael Mellamphy.
Why is he an Ensemble Dark Horse[]
- In a game with over 109 missions, Sean unfortunately, only appeared in 7, despite this he is a extremely loved and popular character, due to his charismatic and hilarious personality, and fun missions.
- His cocky and witty personality, coupled with his little brother and big brother dynamic with Arthur Morgan, has made him very endearing to fans. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t find Sean likable.
- He has some of the most fun missions in the entire game, most notably when you burn the Gray’s tobacco fields, or when you rob a homestead with him, a mission with Sean is never boring, it’s almost always fun, thrilling, and hilarious.
- He is very loyal and respectful towards his boss, Dutch Van Der Linde, and does his best to help the gang with there money problem, even when bounty hunters torture him for information on Dutch, he never gives him up.
- You can even go on secret robbery missions with him, which shows how dedicated he is to helping his gang.
- Most players were incredibly saddened when he died in Chapter 3.
