What Make Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Initially a miserable man with constant panic attacks because of his poor psychological health. After meeting Pucci, and discovering his stand power, Sky High, he earns a newfound confidence when demonstrating his stand and fighting Jolyne and Ermes.
- His gratitude towards Pucci, establishing his honorable side.
- Is the only son of DIO who is genuinely a sympathetic noble demon, compared to the Ungalo and Donatello Versus (And also Giorno Giovanna). He inherits determination to face his own psychological issues, lacking sadism and vindictiveness. Making him akin more to Jonathan Joestar, rather than Dio Brando.
- Consequently, is a tough opponent whom Jolyne fight against. Especially when Jolyne sets her body on fire with gasoline, and Rikiel does the same thing to find her weakness. To add a bonus, both of their stand powers were silly, yet effective for combat.
- Takes his defeat well, and willing to reveal everything he knew, such as Weather Report (Born Domenico Pucci) is Enrico Pucci's lost twin brother to Jolyne, whom he acknowledges as worthy opponent.
- Like his other half-brothers, his backstory mirrors Giorno Giovanna because having met the man who became his savior (Enrico Pucci for the other sons of DIO, the nameless Hitman for Giorno).
