Patrick Colasour, who also known as Patrick Mannequin after married, is one secondary Antagonist now turned into ally of protagonist from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Previously, he was an ace pilot from Advance Europa Union Military, who always win on mock battle but never wins against Gundams of Celestial Being. Despite his arrogance and comical side, Patrick is a good man who never agree with extremist to achieve a peace. Leading him agree with Kati to betray A-LAWS and help Celestial Being to defeat A-LAWS and Innovator, then protecting humanity from any threats.
He is voiced by Kenji Hamada in Japanese version and Trevor Devall in English version of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Sean Chiplock in English version of Gundam Build Divers cameo character.
What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- He is resident comic relief character. From start, he always known never win against Gundam despite being Ace Pilot, his interaction with Kati Mannequin sometime ended in comical way like boke and tsukkomi routine.
- Although Kati sometime bit annoyed with his attitude, she secretly like him back for being loyal and give a support to her. To the point she agree accept his offer to date and finally marry him after war against A-LAWS. This also make her become slightly mellowed while still being tough General.
- Despite being overconfidence, he actually a good man who never agree with extremist ideology to gain a peace. This also the reason, aside of his loyalty toward Kati, for Patrick to betray A-LAWS. He also admit the reason why he accept A-LAWS invitation because he wanted to protect Kati, not support A-LAWS ideology.
- Fans always known Patrick for miraculously survived from death. No matter how hard the battlefield is and how close he is with death, he always survives. To the point fans jokes him to be "most immortal and luckiest character" in Gundam Series.
- Patrick popularity is acknowledge by Sunrise, which leads him become a cameo character in Gundam Build Divers almost in every episode. Fans love to make "Find Patrick" post in every week during the series aired to spot his cameos.
- Some of his cameo can be seen wearing his iconic pajama and wearing Lockon Stratos' pilot suit. Which quiet ironic since the 1st Lockon was injured by Patrick when he tried protect Tieria from Patrick GNX's attack in Season 1 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
