Pale Rider (ペイルライダー, Peiru Raidā) is a minor antagonist in Sword Art Online: Phantom Bullet story arc. He was an anonymous GGO player using a name taken from one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. He participated the GGO tournament putting up a fight with Dyne's team that impresses Sinon (Asada Shino). Unfortunately, he became one of the victims of Death Gun.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• Is an enigmatic GGO Player known for his parkour skills while using a shotgun before became a victim of Death Gun after his data and his home address were exposed to the Death Gun identities.
• Pale Rider makes his appearance in SAO Fatal Bullet, but this time, it's Sinon who kills his avatar, preventing him being killed by Death Gun in real life.
• Fans remembered him to be an enigmatic yet badass opponent, and yet a red herring of the actual villain(s) because of his name taken from one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
