Ozzy and Strut

Ozzy and Strut are the main antagonists of The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure. They are a duo of incompetent Struthiomimus who constantly bicker as Strut wants to eat plants though Ozzy won't let him.

They are voiced by Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen, respectively.

What Makes Them Ensemble Dark Horses?[]

Their song, "Eggs", is regarded as one of the most iconic songs in the franchise alongside "Big Water", and is considered to be way catchier and better-written than other songs in the series.
The way Ozzy says "eggs" in one part of the song has become a meme in the Land Before Time and even general dinosaur community due to its unexpected delivery and the way he looks at the viewers while saying it.
Ozzy's obsession with eggs is often compared to a drug addiction, especially with the way he sings about how he "does eggs" during the song, which comes off as funny to people who don't expect a mostly saccharine franchise like The Land Before Time to make drug references.
Their bumbling incompetence comes off as humorous instead of annoying, and they make a good contrast to Mama and Papa Sharptooth's more ferocious nature.
Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen's performances make for a great dynamic between the two.
Due to them being able to talk, they are more memorable and complex than antagonists from the other sequels, who are generally mindless predators.
Even other speaking villains such as Dil & Ichy, and Rinkus & Sierra, are not as well-received due to having little more personality outside of wanting to achieve their goal.
While they only appear in one movie, they are some of the most iconic characters in the franchise due to their fleshed-out personalities and their song, with many fans wanting them to return in a future entry despite it being implied that they were eaten by Chomper's parents at the end of the movie.
