Osi Sobeck is a minor antagonist from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He is the main antagonist of the season 3 the Citadel arc. Osi Sobeck is an officer from the Separatist assigned to the planet Lola Sayu, and be the warden of a prison called the Citadel.

Osi Sobeck was voiced by James Arnold Taylor.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

Even though Sobeck was written in a way to make him hated by viewers, as he was the warden of a separatist prison and even goes as far as to enjoy torturing the prisoners, and yet for many fans he ends up being one of the many highlights of the arc, as well as Admiral Tarkin being introduced into the show. Fans greatly enjoy him due to his intelligence, as well as his sadistic and insane personality.
James Arnold Taylor did a great job at voicing Osi Sobeck.
The fans adore how ruthless he is. Much like with General Grievous, Sobeck treats the battle droids as expendable pawns. Such as ordering a commando droid to execute another commando droid after being informed of Piell and Tarkin's escape, or choking K2-B4 after being contacted by Count Dooku.
A welcome change to the fans was that, unlike most of the Separatist officers and officials where they just sit back and let the battle droids take care of the Republican Troops and Jedi, Sobeck can be able to stand toe to toe against them. Like in the final episode of the arc Citadel Rescue where he along with a squad of commando droids get in their STAP and tries to fire at the clone troopers including Tarkin, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan. Even after he get shot down Sobeck took a blaster from Tarkin and still grabbed a hold of him, and pinned the admiral down to the ground.
Sobeck's death is also one of the most gruesome ones in the whole show, making it stand out to fans.
