~ Omni-Mark to Veil Mark, and his most famous line.

Markus Sebastian "Mark" Grayson, also known as Invincible or "Omni-Mark", is a supporting antagonist of the Invincible television series.

He was voiced by Steven Yeun.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

  • First of all, many fans have liked Omni-Mark for his overall cool design, especially the cape and the Omni-Man colors.
  • Unlike most alternate Marks, who are overly callous and brutal, he has a very calm and collected personality, similar to Omni-Man, which he greatly demonstrates when he scolds Veil Mark for swearing.
    • His minor interaction with Veil Mark unironically cause some fans to start making Yaoi fanart of them, despite the fact that Omni-Mark leaves Veil Mark to be killed by Reanimen.
  • His hatred of going back to the Grayson household has made some fans speculate at some past trauma associated with the place, possibly associated with Omni-Man's (and maybe Debbie's) death in his universe, especially when factoring Masked Mark's reply to his line.
  • He is so popular among the fanbase that he replaced the Blue Suit Mark with black kneepads among the final eight Invincibles who survived the Invincible War, which saved him from the embarrassing fate he suffered in the comics, which got criticism from readers.
    • In fact, his popularity was so high, that many fans even wish that he replaces Mohawk or Sinister Mark in the final two Invincibles to survive in the desolate wasteland, especially considering he was one of the stronger variants.

Trivia[]

  • Only his TV version counts, as his comic version suffers a pathetic anti-climactic defeat which gets largely made fun for by Invincible fans, therefore being a Scrappy.
