Molly is a supporting character in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead video game series, appearing as a one-off major character in the fourth episode "Around Every Corner" of the first season.
She used to live in the Crawford district alongside her diabetic younger sister, when Oberson seized control of the community. When he was weeding out "liabilities" such as the sick, Molly went to the town doctor to get insulin for her sister in exchange for sexual favors. One day, said doctor ended the deal out of fear for himself when Oberson sent an inspector down to take inventory of the medicine. Before Molly knew it, her sister's symptoms showed and she was removed from the community. Grieving and embittered by her loss, Molly soon left the community to live a life of scavenger.
She is voiced by Erin Yvette.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Despite appearing in only one episode throughout the whole series, Molly is highlighted as one of the favorite characters as a whole because of her honorable and charming actions.
- She is generally admired for her competent fighting skills and bravery, as she even managed to easily defeat some major character like Kenny and Lee Everett (while determinant), and later helping them to infiltrate Crawford.
- Despite being a one-shot character, she is still compared with some major characters mainly being Jane and Ava, in terms of fighting skills and competence, in which she is more admired than the others.
- She is much admired that there is a fanbase who wanted her to return to the game, creating theories about her whereabouts and her possible return throughout subsequent seasons and episodes.
