Why Do People Love The Character?	Their undying loyalty to Navia (& Callas) is what makes their deaths heartbreaking. Many audiences adore the characters' involvement for clearing the former boss' name, finding the true mastermind behind the Sinthe trade. and eventually saving their current boss when they became part of Oceanid Hivemind.

Melus & Silver were supporting deuteragonists in open world role-playing video game Genshin Impact in Archon Quest Chapter IV, Masquerade of the Guilty in Act 1, 2, and 5. They were the members of Spina di Rosula who were Navia's attendants. Melus was an elderly butler who knows about Callas, Navia's father, while Silver was a younger butler often seen with sunglasses. They both wanted to clear Callas' name after he was implicated of the murder of Jacques, who was pressured by Marcel's associates and eventually succeeded. They both were dissolved after attempting to save other people in Poisson, their consciousness becomes the part of Oceanid Hivemind and later saves Navia from being dissolved by the Primordial Seawater, buying enough time for Neuvilette for rescuing her.

Melus is voiced by Jason Marnocha in English dub (Who also voiced Lorenzo in the same game), while Silver is voiced by Jacob Barrens (Who previously voiced Kusayla in the same game) in English dub and Teppei Uenishi in Japanese dub.

• Melus & Silver were known for their undying loyalty and keeping secrets about Navia's father, Callas to Navia. Their heroic sacrifices in Poisson and saving Navia from being dissolved serves as heartbreaking moments. Additionally, they both promises for the proper burial close to the late Callas Caspar before Poisson flooding. 
• Being the co-butlers of Spina di Rosula, players adore their stylish outfits and mannerisms. 
• In the Courtyard of Opera Epiclese, Melus and Silver manages to stall the Gardemek army to protect Navia until Clorinde arrives. Audience also saw Melus wielding a sword to fight the Gardemeks.
• Their contributions in the Archon Quest involve clearing the previous head Spina di Rosula's name from being implicated for the murder of the associates, solving the serial disappearances case, and finally protecting Navia and the people of Fontaine from the Primordial Seawater Flooding, at the cost of their lives. 
• The fanbase praised Melus and Silver's heroic deeds for clearing their master's name for Navia Caspar in addition for their undying loyalty to the Caspar Family and solving the serial disappearances case in Fontaine, so much that their deaths in the climax of Fontaine Archon Quest heartbreaking because they didn't get their final wish, in spite of saving Navia from being dissolved by the Primordial Seawater.
  • In addition, with their stylish outfits, Melus & Silver can be considered too cool to live by the audience that the narrative kills them off by the Primordial Seawater Flooding in the climax of the Archon Quest.
