Maud Pie, whose full name is Maudileena Daisy Pie, is a supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
She is the older sister of Pinkie and Marble Pie and younger sister of Limestone Pie unlike her sisters, Maud is very stoic and hardly expresses any emotion. She and Pinkie have been close friends for years and share a tradition of exchanging rock candy necklaces.
She is voiced by Ingrid Nilson, who also voiced her other sisters, Limestone and Marble.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- In her first appearance she attracted a lot of attention from fans, by almost completely lacking any emotion, and by her strange way of expressing herself, however, that does not mean that she cannot communicate with other ponies, since she has proven to be very charismatic and fun despite her neutral and empty expression.
- She has several comical and funny moments, since her neutral expression gives rise to situations such as that you never know if she is being serious or if she is joking or being sarcastic. There is also the moment in which she makes fun of Discord for his bad jokes.
- She has very badass moments, especially where she demonstrates her strength by breaking or throwing rocks with her own hooves, this is demonstrated when she saves Pinkie from being crushed by a rock or in the Sombra alternate future where she does the same.
- It is shown that she loves her family and friends very much, especially her sister Pinkie Pie, since one of the reasons for considering moving to Ponyville was to be close to her, and despite not really liking parties and sweets, she still enjoys them for the happiness of his sister.
- She looks cute every time she makes a small smile.
- Many consider that, along with her sisters Marble and Limestone, she should have appeared in more episodes than she actually did.
- In general, she has won the hearts of several bronies, although at first glance she seems empty and neutral, she really shows emotions, as strange as it may seem to some.
