Why Do People Love The Character?	Fans adored that Lyudochka is a sympathetic Fatui defector because she wanted to have a normal life as a Shrine Maiden rather than an obstructive Fatui Spy under the leadership of her overzealous teacher, Efim Snezhevich. She eventually earns a happy ending as "Gendou Ringo", replacing the aloof "Momoyo" who is a ninja from Shuumatsuban, without meeting Arlecchino in-person.

Lyudochka Snezhevna, known as her shrine maiden alias "Gendou Ringo", is a supporting character in Genshin Impact. She is a former Fatui Spy who was one of the orphans of the House of the Hearth. She studied Inazuma culture at young age since she has an Inazuman heritage. Since then, she wanted to have a normal life as a Shrine Maiden (Miko) instead of being a Fatui Spy, so she has to defect from The Fatui. As a former Fatui Spy, she is a Cicin Mage with Electro Delusion.

What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• In general, Lyudochka is one of the known sympathetic Fatui members of the known elite enemy group named Cicin Mages. She is a former Fatui Spy who wanted to have a normal life in Inazuma because she's quite fascinated with it since she has an Inazuman heritage while being an orphan raised in House of the Hearth.
• During her operations in Inazuma as Fatui Spy, she worked as a proofreader in Yae Publishing House. She then impersonates a shrine maiden named "Gendou Ringo", after the previous one faked her death, revealed to be a Shuumatsuban ninja code-named Momoyo.
  • As a Shrine Maiden, she made her own impression of Gendou Ringou that is much different than Momoyo's, it says something that Yae Miko took an interest of this former Fatui Spy.
• The reason why she defects from the Fatui is that she protests Efim's assignment for her to prolonging the civil war in Inazuma by sabotaging the ceasefire of The Shogunate and Watatsumi Army by poisoning the water supply.
  • To elaborate further upon, Both Efim and Lyudochka were raised as a Fatui child soldiers from House of the Hearth, the orphanage whom Crucabena, the infamous previous Arlecchino ran the practice in, and Efim is a fanatical soldier of Crucabena, even if she was killed and has her title usurped by Peruere before the current events of the game,
• In truth, the whole fiasco of how her she's assigned by Efim to sabotage the peace-talks of The Shogunate & Watatsumi Army, happened when her Fatui teammate, Tae resents Lyudochka for taking a Grand Narukami Shrine position and for the favor Efim regularly shows towards her. In which, Tae, knowing that Efim would be irritated for wasting time, took an opportunity by informing Lyudochka's idle leisure by showing her light novel to Efim to make Lyudochka assigned as a Fatui Saboteur.
• Out of Guilt, she initially leaves Inazuma as a Fatui Deserter. However, when The Traveler & Paimon persuades her to stay because "Momoyo" forgaves her for Impersonating "Gendou Ringo" after she foiled Efim's plan, she eventually earns a happy ending for real, thanks for the help from The Traveler, Paimon, and "Momoyo".
• While the Fatui Cicin Mages were usually known for ecstatic & masochistic voice lines, it doesn't affect Lyudochka's whatsoever in the narrative nor her hateful comrade Tae. 

Trivia

• Lyudochka Snezhevna & Clervie were both Genshin Ensemble Dark Horses who were the low-ranking members of The Fatui. Both of them were orphans raised in House of the Hearth.
• Both Lyudochka Snezhevna and Hanachirusato were both ensemble dark horses who have their names changed. Their former names were Lyudochka Schneitzevna and Kazari respectively.
