NOTE: This page focuses on the version of Lucy van Pelt from the Eddiefrb series as the main series version is too base breaking.

Why don't you pick on someone your own size you object! I'd say you're too round to be a blockhead, but now that the shrink has arrived you might shrivel. Given your rhymes. I'll pick at your mind for no nickel. I'm guessing it all went wrong when your mother slept with so many weiners you moved into another. Dad left her and he was so happy with his new lover 'till you turned him into chili and then fed him to your brother?! YOU REPULSIVE FREAK!. Nobody would love you in your right mind! Someone tell Heidi to hide and get her some iodine! All your friends think you're an antisemetic ogre. Now wonder Kyle hates you, pork isn't kosher. You're worthless! Hopelessly utterly and completely and I don't sugar coat it 'cuz then you'd probably eat me. Here's my final two cents this comes for the winner! Spell it out Charlie Brown..."
~ Lucy's verse in the rap battle.
Charlie Brown: Uhhh... wait, was I supposed to say something-

Lucy: Charlie Brown you were supposed to deliver the punchline! Haven't you ever picked up on a basic setup before?! You wouldn't know a get setup for a joke if it walked up and slugged you. I've seen you mess things up before, Charlie Brown but this right here is unforgivable! You're hopeless Charlie Brown, completely and utterly hopeless!
Charlie Brown: Good grief.

~ Lucy and Charlie Brown's interaction at the end of the battle.

Lucille "Lucy" Van Pelt is one of the main characters in the Peanuts franchise and serves as a surprise contestant, standing in for Charlie Brown's second verse in Eddiefrb's Eric Cartman vs. Charlie Brown rap battle.

She is a young girl known for her crabby nature and often served as a bully/tormentor towards Charlie Brown as well as other members of the cast, despite this, she's also shown to be one of his closest friends with her coming into join the battle against Eric Cartman after he was done with his second verse and quickly became the fan-favorite part of the entire video.

She was voiced by garbageGothic.

What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

  • Despite not being one of the two main contestants in the rap battle and only having a single verse that serves to replace Charlie Brown, she is unanimously considered the best part of the battle thanks to her brutal disses towards Eric Cartman, her memorable interaction with Charlie Brown at the end of the battle, and a great performance from garbageGothic.
  • Despite coming into defend Charlie Brown against Eric Cartman, Lucy does not refrain from throwing a few insults Charlie Brown's way when he fails to deliver the punchline at the end of her verse, calling him completely hopeless just like she does in official source material, making Lucy the only character in the video to diss both sides of the battle.
  • Despite her insults towards him at the end, people found it rather heartwarming to see Lucy go out of her way to take over Charlie Brown's place in the rap battle after Eric Cartman's second verse, throwing brutal insults at him and even showing anger towards the mere idea that he was picking on Charlie Brown at all. Showing that, despite her mean words towards him, she does still care about him and doesn't tolerate Eric Cartman's harsh words towards him.

Trivia[]

  • Lucy's surprise appearance was actually hinted at before she even joined the battle, with Eric Cartman saying he could "consult his local psychiatrist" to get his mental problems sorted out, something that, if you know the Peanuts, is obviously referencing how Lucy serves the role of Charlie Brown's unhelpful psychiatrist in the original comic strip and spinoff material, with Lucy conveniently joining in on the battle right afterwards.
    • A more subtle sign of Lucy's role can also be seen even before the reveal, as if one looks closely, they would see that Lucy wasn't part of the background alongside the other members of the cast at all before she officially joins in on the rap battle, hinting at how unlike the others, Lucy doesn't play a background role in the music video.
  • She is one of the two YouTube rap battles characters to be an EDH, alongside Fightmarker's version of The Mask.
