Kazuha's Friend was a supporting character from the open world role-playing video game Genshin Impact. He was a friend of Kaedehara Kazuha who protests the Vision Hunt Decree. After being bested by Kujou Sara in a duel, he was then executed by Raiden Shogun in Tenshukaku.

He's voiced by Brandon Winckler (Who voiced Takuya in the same game) in English dub and Chen Runqiu in Chinese dub.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• Kazuha's Friend was adored by the fanbase for being a surrogate big brother figure to Kazuha. Fans were saddened that he was killed by Raiden Shogun after being bested in Kujou Sara in a duel because he protests the Vision Hunt Decree. In which, his death motivates Kazuha fleeing from Inazuma to resist the Raiden Shogun, Vision Hunt Decree, & Sakoku Decree by anything possible, such as becoming Beidou's crew and join forces with Watatsumi Army led by Sangonomiya Kokomi.
  • After the events of Archon Quest, Kazuha can be seen placing the electro vision to the grave of his friend.
• Aside from being a friend of Kazuha, he was also a friend of Thoma prior to Vision Hunt Decree and presumably the heirs of Kamisato Clan. He's also known for being a cat lover. 
• His grave can be identified with his sword and his electro vision located in Northern coast of Narukami Island near Kamisato Estate. There's also his cat companion which cannot be captured by Omni-Ubiquity Net.
• To add the irony, he was a tall guy with Electro Vision, before Ororon's release in Natlan, who was bested by Kujou Sara in a duel and then executed by Raiden Shogun, the Tall Electro woman with the latter being an Electro Archon.
• Fanbase meaningfully gave the name of Kazuha's friend "Tomo".

Trivia

• Both Kazuha's Friend, Guizhong, Niwa Hisahide, and the Nameless Bard are Genshin Impact Posthumous Characters who were ensemble dark horse for being a friend of a playable character.
