Kassidy Vale, also known as the Genius Girl, is a minor character who made an appearance in the opening of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. She is an inventor who has created several gadgets and is responsible for the existence of Beep-0 and the SupaMerge.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- While she may have made an only appearance during the first game's introduction, Kassidy has garnered a sizable fanbase mainly due to the fact that she has a genki girl personality and is one of the few characters who also happens to be a huge Mario fan in-universe which also adds to the relatability of the Super Mario fans as well, as shown with her various collections and humming the iconic Super Mario Bros. Theme.
- In addition, she has a career in her inventing various gadgets that she would hope to benefit everyone in the world, such as inventing Beep-0 as her assistant and inventing and trying to improve the capabilities of the SupaMerge to help solve an energy crisis occurring in her world. What is also relatable is that she can get frustrated when the SupaMerge is experiencing overheating issues when she thought she solved the problem.
- Another thing contributing to her status is that she is one of the most underutilized characters in the series as she only appeared in the introduction and made a small cameo after the credits of the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC where her face is shown for the first time where she is looking through photos Rabbid Peach took.
- She is one of the few humans who does not get the full brunt of the Rabbids attacks since she left the room before they arrived, since it is a common occurrence throughout the Rabbidverse.
- It's strongly implied that she and Beep-0 have kept in touch despite them being far apart throughout the series and if the player 100 percents Sparks of Hope, JEANIE will get a message from her which she acknowledges that she created Beep-0 as well as her existence, telling them how proud she is of them.
