Juleka Couffaine is a major character from Miraculous Ladybug She obtains the Tiger Miraculous from Ladybug and becomes Purple Tigress. She is also Luka's twin sister.
She is voiced by Erin Fitzgerald in Season 1 and then Reba Buhr in Seasons 2 and above.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Many fans like Juleka because of her really cool, dark and brooding appearance which is based on the stereotypical emo girl gig and the horror loving girl.
- Her voice actor Erin Fitzgerald made an entertaining role in Season 1 which many fans wished to have her first voice actor return again, and despite her voice acting being switched with Reba Buhr, Reba's performer is still too good that it cannot detract from her popularity.
- She is played for sympathy much often is each episode that she is the main character like in "Reflekta" she wanted to be unobscured in each photo and Chloé sabotages her attempt which causes her to get akumatized into Reflekta, while akumatized, her vengeance against Chloé is justified because she ruined her desire and turning her into the latter is satisfying.
- In another episode "Guiltrip" she was genuinely upset because her best friend was having illness and worried about her so badly that she not only gets akumatized again but also creates a monster based on her guilt.
- Her Purple Tigress appearance is wicked awesome, and her power can send anything she punches flying away with Clout which makes Juleka an awesome force to be reckon with and she became so beloved that there are fan arts of ship between her and Cat Noir (Although Adreinette is a perfect Miraculous Ladybug ship).
- Her appearance as Reflekta is a very creative akumatized villain because she is capable of turning anyone she blasts into herself and she literally throws a bunch of lockers onto a door which fans hoped to see her Reflekta appearance returns more.
- The way she screams "Yes." at Roaar is too hilarious which some fans wish there were videos of her screaming at Roaar but her scream is replaced with others to improvise that such as the infamous Shrek roar, Agnes' scream, etc.
