Hifumi Togo (Japanese: 東郷 一二三) is a supporting character in Persona 5. She is a young woman attending in Kosei High School, known for being experienced shogi player ever since she won a championship title in the Female Shogi League. However, she's ostracized by any other shogi players because of her popularity, and her mother shoots the idea of Ren dating her because it would ruin the shogi idol image. Aside from being a shogi player, she is also a gravure idol, albeit reluctantly.
She is voiced by Tomomi Isomura in the Japanese dub and Eden Riegel in the English dub.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Her confidant skills are known for being the most useful for players in exploring palaces. Though her confidant perks aren't available up until you have cleared Kaneshiro's palace.
- In P5 Royal, her mid-battle strategy skill is also needed for the infamous Okumura Boss Fight.
- Fans agreed that Hifumi has a pretty character design and wished she could've become a playable character. Even the developers stated she was originally going to be a member of the Phantom Thieves before creating Makoto Niijima as one of the members.
- She acts with Chuunibyou to describing her tactics in Shogi. But deep inside, she's still a reluctant young girl who was forced to follow her mother's vicarious ambitions, because her mother uses blackmail and other methods to get Hifumi's opponents to get her Shogi opponents for fame.

- Hifumi Togo is one of the Ensemble Dark Horses that originated in Persona 5, along with Toranosuke Yoshida, Tae Takemi, Shinya Oda, Shiho Suzui, Munehisa Iwai, and Sojiro Sakura, Lala Escargot, Floral Pants Man, and even Suguru Kamoshida.
