Heidegger is a character from Final Fantasy VII. He served as a secondary antagonist in the original Final Fantasy VII Alongside Scarlet. A major antagonist in Final Fantasy VII Remake. And a supporting antagonist in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Heidegger is one out of five executive for Shinra Electric Power Company. He served as the right hand man to President Shinra and later Rufus Shinra after the former was killed by Sephiroth.
Heidegger is voiced by John DiMaggio in English, and Katsumi Cho in Japanese.
What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- With the expectation of Palmer, the executives of Shinra were given much bigger glowup in the remake. With Heidegger being no exception. Fans find him to now have a much more intimidating presence.
- His design was also slightly changed a bit in the remake. Where in the original Heidegger was a bit chubby, and he had an enormous long beard. Both of them have been reduced in the remake, which had people take him more seriously and overall they liked the design better.
- His voice provided by John DiMaggio in the English version is revered.
