Havel is an antagonistic NPC from Dark Souls (& Dark Souls 3). He is one of the followers of Gwyn. He can be fought at Upper Undead Burg.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

  • Havel is known to be one of the toughest enemies for the Chosen Undead to defeat in Dark Souls, which is liked from the fans because of how they've come to respect challenges in FromSoftware games.
  • Havel also known for his hatred of mages, and the fact he also hates Seath means he's serious business.
  • Easily one of the most cosplayable characters in PVP by the fanbase.
  • Due to Havel being a mighty glacier, fans associate his moniker with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
  • He is the unique enemy in Upper Undead Burg, and he won't respawn after being killed.
  • He appears again in Dark Souls 3, but whether it's him or one of his followers using his moniker it's really not known. It's considered interesting.
    • It's revealed that he's also befriends with Silver Knight Ledo, an enemy NPC in the Ringed City DLC.

Trivia[]

  • Havel is one of the most popular Dark Horses from Dark Souls. The other being Solaire, Siegmeyer, Velka, Artorias, Sif, Quelaag's Sister, Black Iron Tarkus, and Manus.
