Gullveig is a character from Fire Emblem Heroes. She is the main antagonist in Book VII. Gullveig is the Golden Seer and a goddess from Vanaheimr. Her goal is to destroy all time.
Gullveig is voiced by Alice Himora in English and Suzuko Mimori in Japanese.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse[]
- Gullveig have somewhat of an interesting backstory. It is later found out that Gullveig is what the main protagonist of the Seiðr would later become. In other words both Seiðr and Gullveig are pretty much the same person. With Kvasir being their past counterpart. Making Gullveig pretty much the protagonist that later turned evil.
- Many fans of Fire Emblem are also attracted to Gullveig design. Being both attractive and badass as well. With multiple golden snakes coming out of her back being one aspect what make her design well like.
- Upon her reveal in the opening cinematic trailer for Book VII. People have made tons of fanart of her as well as a bunch of memes. Particularly in one shot of her gazing upon Kiran with her hand in their face.
- Her popularity gotten so far that in Choose Your Legends Round 7 she became the overall winner of the Womens Division and third place all together. Making her one of the strangest winners of Choose Your Legends. As prior to her victory, her debut was on December 2022. One month before the voting for Choose Your Legends Round 7 even began.
- This would make Gullveig the second Heroes character to receive a Brave Alt. The first being Veronica the main antagonist of Book I and later major supporting character in later books. Alfonse one of the main lords of Heroes would become the third heroes character to have a Brave Alt after his victory in Choose Your Legends Round 8.
