- Glen is viewed as a genuinely funny guy who's rude moments are entertaining to watch. Such as him saying "SHUT UP, GRANDMA!" directly after stating that his house was his place of "zen and peace."
- Anthony's acting is viewed as a big source for how funny the character is, with many fans finding him a lot more entertaining than Sam Witwicky because of that.
- The scene where The FBI raiding Glen's Grandmama's house while Glen was working on his magic on the stolen government intel were editable to have him research on benign things, such as illegal lego building techniques, prompting FBI breaking in. Sometimes, Glen is also depicted being bastardized as a memetic lolicon in the fan-made videos.
- While he was liked for his involvement in the first movie, he never appeared in the other four, and out most of the one-shot comic reliefs Glen was one of the ones that were missed the most.
- He is featured in several YouTube videos, like AlpacaHawk's highly viewed YTP of Transformers. Glen is shown in YTPs and other videos where he's just yelling at people or saying ridiculous phrases, showcasing that people took the time to make more content for Glen.
