Fay (also known as Fay Spaniel by fans) is a girlish dog who, along with Miyu, appeared in the then-cancelled Star Fox 2 title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Fay, alongside Miyu, are among one of the most popular characters due to the fact that she is one of the first female characters in the Star Fox video game series in the titular team, which is known for being largely male dominant, and would make way for other female characters such as Katt Monroe, Krystal, Amanda, and Lucy Hare.
- She was unanimously praised for having an adorable character design and having a go-getter girl personality, along with her animation pose like her finger wag when selected as the pilot. Fanart of her have also been extremely prevalent since her official art and sprites were revealed.
- Given that she has not yet made another appearance in the series, fans have long to see her in the series proper, even if she was replaced with Bill Grey at the time, where she could have received more expansion and development.
