Sonya Simonson, known as Dreamer, is a supporting character in the Fox series, The Gifted, based on the X-Men franchise.

What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• Even though she only appears in a few episodes, dying in the tenth episode of season 1, Dreamer had a sizeable fanbase who loved how willing she was to save as many lives as possible, even if it meant planting false memories into Blink's mind so that she could save Johnny and the rest of the Mutant Underground.
• Given how she sacrificed herself in order for the Underground can escape to safety, her death at the hands of Trask Industries is made even more tragic with many people wanting her character to return.
• The response Dreamer's death with the fans wanting her to return was only heightened when, on Twitter, Blink's actress, Jamie Chung, mentioned how Elena Satine, Dreamer's actress, were great scene partners.
