Clementine is an antagonist of 2010 Light Novel & 2012 anime series, Overlord in "The Dark Warrior" story arc.

She is a psychopthic mercenary who enjoys inflicting pain and torture from others. She wore a chainmail bikini made from a collection of insignias from her victims, like well-known adventurers. She became a protagonist in the 2022 metroidvania video game spinoff, OVERLORD - ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK.

She is voiced by Aoi Yuuki (Who voiced Cinderella in Nikke: Goddess of Victory) in Japanese dub and Mikaela Krantz in English dub.

What Makes Her an Ensemble Dark Horse?

• She and Khajiit were both starter villains, although she is much more sadistic and deplorable than Khajiit. Her death, literally at the hands of Ainz is what makes her a memorable villainess.
  • Her popularity has made her becoming a saint woman or still a villain but a protagonist in a spinoffs to add her vaguely mysterious backstory.
• Because of her popularity, Kugane Maruyama Made a spinoffs starring her as a protagonist that became the villain with backstory changed in the adaptation in which she is much more sympathetic than the Clementine in the official canon.
• She generates the source of memes, indirectly (By impaling Ainz with her daggers into his eyes) and directly (Her Death Scene by Ainz's Hug).
• Although being a detestable psychopathic bandit, we get to see the one of the examples of karmic deaths in anime, by getting hugged by Ainz. Her plates of adventurer insignias fell off while her face is beaten into a bloody mess, signifies her defeat.
• She dresses with scantily clad armor with the plates made of insignias from her victims. Her trophies are also signifying her pride and delight. She was killed by Ainz (Momonga) by a bear hug because of her own hubris.
  • Despite her arrogance, she would acknowledge the strength of others of Brain Unglaus or Gazeff Stranoff.
• In Japanese dub, this is one of memorable Aoi Yuuki's role as a cute and psychopathic villainess.
