Clara, a playable character, is a young orphan accompanied by a robotic bodyguard named Svarog, an auxiliary playable character. They are the supporting characters in Honkai Star Rail in the Jarilo-VI Trailblaze Mission. They both were living in Robot Settlements filled with Belobogian automatons in Jarilo-VI subsurface. Clara is an honorary member of The Moles.
Clara is voiced by Emily Sun in English dub, Zisu Jiuyue (紫苏九月) in Chinese dub, Rina Hidaka (日高里菜) in Japanese dub, and Kim Yea-lim (김예림) in Korean dub. On the other hand, Svarog is voiced by D.C. Douglas in English dub, Wang Yuhang (王宇航) in Chinese dub, Hiroki Yasumoto (安元洋貴) in Japanese dub, and Choi Nak-yoon (최낙윤) in Korean dub.
What Makes Them Ensemble Dark Horses?[]
- In general, Clara and Svarog were the expies of Nasuverse's Illyasviel von Einzbern and Herakles (Berserker class servant). This comes at full circle when Honkai Star Rail announces a collaboration event with Fate Stay Night.
- Fans enjoy their heartwarming relations between a robo-daddy and his adopted human daughter.
- Both Clara & Svarog were involved in the mid-journey of the story until the near-end of the Jarilo-VI Trailblaze Mission Chapter.
- Clara (Accompanied with Svarog) is one of the powerful early-game game breakers for the counterattacks that deals single damage and AoE damage combined with taunts. Along with Yunli, they were effective against Guardian Shadow Fragmentum Monster, one of the infamously known elite mooks, and Borisin Warhead Hoolay.
Specific to Clara[]
- As mentioned above, Clara is taken from Nasuverse's Illyasviel, except she's far nicer than Illya, who is a psychocutie with a hulking servant.
- While being a star making role for Emily Sun, Clara's English VA, her Japanese VA, Rina Hidaka is known to have voiced token mini moes such as Silica/Ayano Keiko from Sword Art Online. It also helps that Svarog's VA, Hiroki Yasumoto also voices Agil/Andrew Gilbert Mills from the aforementioned franchise.
- Her interaction with Hook and Natasha is very much endearing. This also applies to Trailblazer as well for using emoticons, which players found its cute.
Specific to Svarog[]
- Svarog's design has been compared to Shockwave from Transformers and Legion from Mass Effect. The latter character shares the same English VA, D.C. Douglas.
- As mentioned above, Svarog is a derivative of Nasuverse's berserker class servant Herakles, except he has capability of using robotic lexicon in his speech patterns.
- Initially as a hero antagonist towards The Trailblazer crew and Belobogians, Svarog soon develops a genuine friendship towards them.
- He is Luka's Rival from Belobog that he wanted to test his might against Svarog in his debut quest. Luka would encounter Svarog again in Xianzhou Luofu Wardance competition and this time, Luka emerge victorious against him.
- Clara's character story is written by Svarog's point of view, suggesting that even a robot capable to develop & replicate humans moral code despite its intimidating appearance.
- Gameplay-Wise, Svarog is an auxiliary playable character that do the fighting for Clara and his playstyle involves counterattacks, drawing attention, and tanking enemy attacks.
- As a Boss, Svarog is able to summon any Belobogian automatons. Players recognize the robot as the early game difficulty spike boss. Luka founds a hard way for attempting to match against Svarog in Luka's own companion mission.
- The SImulated & Divergent Universe version of Svarog is considered to be a tough boss enemy in HSR.

- There is an identical model of Svarog named Monitoring Automaton Prototype 2 encountered as an event-exclusive boss in limited-time Underground Treasure Hunt event.
- Clara's Chinese voice actress, Zisu Jiuyue had voiced Griseo from Honkai Impact 3rd and Nilou from Genshin Impact. Her Korean voice actress on the other hand, Kim Yae-lim had voiced Grace Howard in Zenless Zone Zero.
