Vindicated by History

Characters that used to be base-breaking, or at worst a scrappy, but soon became much more beloved amongst fans. These characters are usually referred to as being "Rescued from the Scrappy Heap".

IMPORTANT NOTE: Being vindicated is not an automatic qualification for a character being an EDH, as it is a matter of how COMPARITIVELY liked they are now. A character rescued from the heap can still be generally disliked by a portion of the fanbase.
