Bwario and Bwaluigi are the minor antagonists of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. They are the Rabbid counterparts of both Wario and Waluigi respectively.
What Makes Them Ensemble Dark Horses?[]
- As Wario and Waluigi were already extremely popular with fans in the Super Mario fandom, both Bwario and Bwaluigi have also gained popularity when they were first introduced in the game, which had gotten to the point where they wish to play as them in the DLC alongside their Mario-series counterparts, which unfortunately did not happen at all, nor in the sequel.
- Another reason they were popular is that they were underutilized as characters in the game and weren't fully used to their full potential which they left so much to be desired and their lack of cameos in Sparks of Hope contributes to this.
- Their character designs are very good, and they are both slightly different in appearance with Bwario being lankier than Wario and Bwaluigi being much bulkier than Waluigi.
- Bwario in particular has been so popular that in one the SMG4's Stupid Mario series' episodes, it has featured Wario as the main antagonist, who goes on to create a whole army of Rabbid Warios.
- While the Rabbids have long been base-breaking characters with those who have found them either funny or annoying, Bwario and Bwaluigi, despite once ordinary Rabbids ended up making a full exit from the status since then.
