Bonanus, known as Fánàn (Chinese: 伐难) in the Chinese Dub, Batsunan (Japanese: 伐難) in the Japanese Dub, and Beol-nan (Korean: 벌난) in the Korean Dub, was a supporting character in Genshin Impact. She was an Adeptus as well as one of the five foremost Yakshas.

She was voiced by Qin Wenjing (秦文静) in Chinese Dub and Shoji Yui (庄子裕衣) in Japanese Dub.

What Makes Her Ensemble Dark Horse?

• She was known to be one of the most powerful Yakshas along with Bosacius, Indarias, and Menogias when aiding Morax (Zhongli) fighting the demons from The Chasm.
  • She was also the original wielder of the polearm weapon, Calamity Queller when she fought Menogias before being taken by Bosacius after her death.
• Bonanus's screentime made a breakthrough hit to the fanbase because of her being an attractive person for being a siren-like figure in one cutscene at the end of Perilous Trail Archon Quest. As a result, she received a lot of fanarts.

• Bonanus was one of Genshin Impact npcs who were Ensemble Dark Horses originating from Liyue, along with Ying'er, and Guizhong.
• Bonanus's Japanese VA also voiced Changsheng and La Signora in the same game.
