~ Blue Fangs famously calling out the Bishop of Gresit for burning Lisa Tepes at the stake.

Blue Fangs is the secondary antagonist of Season 1 of the Netflix animated series Castlevania. He is a Night Creature in service to the dark lord Dracula, named after the blue color of his serrated teeth.

He is voiced in English by Fred Tatasciore (who also voiced Kakuzu in Naruto), and by Kenshirō Usuki in the Japanese dub.

What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]

  • Despite being a minor villain in the grand scheme of the series, Blue Fangs is often seen by many fans as an intelligent and powerful villain, especially when compared to other Night Creatures.
    • His design is also pretty awesome, which for a series that has various Night Creature designs, helps him stand out.
  • Fred Tatasciore does an amazing voicing Blue Fang in the English version, giving him a menacing, yet imposing voice.
  • Arguably his most iconic moment is his speech calling out the the Bishop of Gresit for burning Lisa Tepes at the stake (an act that led to Dracula declaring war on humanity), before killing the Bishop, much to the delight of many viewers.
    • Overall, despite being killed by Trevor Belmont at the end of Season 1, Blue Fangs is regarded by fans as a fan-favourite villain largely due to his calling out of the Bishop for his hypocrisy and also killing him.
