Area 6 Commander is one of the antagonists of the Star Fox franchise. He is the leading commander who has control over Area 6 alongside Caiman.
What Makes Him an Ensemble Dark Horse?[]
- Like many of the bosses in the game, the Area 6 commander is well known for putting up a fight against the Star Fox team during their breaching of their toughest forces to the point where he sends out the Gorgan robot as a last ditch effort to stop them.
- Even though he was not directly fought in the game, his role ends up getting expanded in Star Fox Zero Sector β, where he pilots the Granby and is one of the few villains, not counting Andross, to directly come in conflict with General Pepper and uses a barrier against the general's first laser and pokes fun at his attacks, leaving Fox to get past one hole in it to deactivate it. This also leads to one of Pepper's best moments and his best kills ever seen since he has never been seen killing anyone on-screen.
