Abdullah is a supporting character in the Tintin comics, first appearing in Land of Black Gold. He is the prince of Khmed who is spoiled by his father, the Emir, and loves playing pranks on people.
What Makes Him an Ensemble Darkhorse?[]
- His bratty personality and mischievous nature are hilariously over-the-top so it makes him funny instead of annoying. His pranks are very funny as well and are very inventive.
- He's able to run circles around just about anyone who tries to keep him under control.
- When kidnapped by Dr. Müller, he isn't afraid but plays pranks on him as well, and turns the tables on him by first using itching powder on him to make him crash, then giving him a fake gun to shoot the heroes with which turns out to be an ink pistol, which enables Müller's arrest.
- Despite only appearing twice in the main series, he's by far one of the most popular supporting characters.
